Pipe layer
2 years pipe laying experience
Must be able to read and understand blueprints and specifications for water and sanitary sewer mains. Needs to be familiar OSHA safety standards including using trench boxes, laying back of banks and soil classification.
Waterline: Will be responsible for ensuring pipe is properly prepped and clean. Must have experience beveling pipe, installing mechanical joint fittings, installing fire hydrants, doing service taps and installing copper service lines.
Sewer lines: Must be able to operate builders level, line transit and pipe laser. Must be able to calculate grade and make in the field adjustments. Needs to be able to install precast and pour in place manholes. Must insure full moon installations and conduct air pressure tests on lines.
